ATAPY Software announced the opening of a Sales and Technical support office in Munich, Germany. Since the company's inception in 2001, ATAPY has completed more than 50 contracts for customers from Western Europe. Further expansion into this geography is intended to bring ATAPY one step closer to its customers, providing for quicker interaction and more efficient project support. ATAPY Software participated in the exposition held by the Novosibirsk Akademgorodok Technopark for a visiting delegation of the Russian government officials headed by the Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications Mr. Igor Schegolev. At the exposition, ATAPY presented its ANPR SDK product, and its ABBYY Professional Services in the field of data capture. ATAPY Software has participated in the Russian-Austrian International Matchmaking Event of the ‘Technology & Research transfer: Russia - Austria’ program - an initiative maintained by Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ), Russian Academy of Sciences and Chamber of Commerce, the European Commission Enterprise Europe Network and the go international project. The event took place on March, 15 on WKÖ premises.

In the course of the event ATAPY presented its expertise in document capture and automatic license plates recognition to selected Austrian partners.

ATAPY Software has achieved a new partner competency from Microsoft Corporation. The Data Management Solutions competency is awarded to Microsoft Certified and Gold Certified partners who have proved their proficiency in projects involving migration tools and services, database- administration tools and services, and performance tools using SQL Server technology. A Microsoft Certified Partner since 2007, ATAPY has been striving to further strengthen this partnership for the benefit of its customers. This is the second Microsoft Partner competency earned by the company, the first one being the Custom Development Solutions competency with specialization in Smart Client Development.

ATAPY Software made a donation to American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund, to help the victims of the devastating January, 12 earthquake in Haiti - a disaster that claimed at least 75 000 lives, leaving 300 000 homeless.
